Eliezer & Apophia
Eliezer Ahumuza is a follower of Jesus, husband to Apophia, advocate for children, social worker, and founder of Raising Children International in Uganda. He earned his Bachelor’s in Social Work and Social Administration from Makerere University in Uganda, and his Master’s in Social Work from the University of Gothenburg, in Sweden. Eliezer has experience working with Uganda based nonprofits such as Juna Amagara, and U.S. based organizations such as Children’s Hope Chest. Raising Children International has been a dream and vision of his for many years. Eliezer is the director of operations and lead person for Raising Children International in Uganda.
Timothy & Devin
Timothy and Devin are founders of Raising Children International in the United States. Timothy has spent time in Uganda with Eliezer, as well as other short term mission trips with teams to the East African region. Timothy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education Studies, and Devin is a Registered Nurse, specializing in pediatrics with hospital and community experience. Their heart is for the renewal of the people of Uganda, in both a spiritual and physical sense. Timothy and Devin, along with the U.S. team, work alongside Eliezer and the Raising Children International team in Uganda to work to the best of our ability to fulfill the mission of Raising Children International.
