Uganda 2025
Are you interested in joining the RCI team as we take our first group mission trip to Uganda in the Summer of 2025? Please fill out this form and we will be in touch. As we are in the early stages of planning, more details will be made available as we have them, this form is to gauge interest so we can start to build the team and begin making further plans.
How much will this trip cost?
So glad you asked! The cost is subject to change, depending on airfare prices at time of purchase, trip itinerary details, etc. We are estimating a total cost of around $3,000 per person. This includes flights, lodging, meals, in country transportation, etc. All you would be responsible for paying for beyond the trip cost would be personal souvenirs.
What would we do in Uganda?
Another excellent question! Specific activities will be tailored to the team we have with us, we will plan based on the skillsets/passions of our team. A few things we will do regardless include:
Delivering care packages from sponsors to children in our sponsorship program.
Visiting homes and meeting with families of children in our program and on our waitlist.
Attending local church services and hosting an outreach / celebration in the village.
Visit and provide some form of support to the schools of children within our program.

Two things you will need to have and can work on now include a current passport and proof of a yellow fever vaccine (This is required to enter the country). We recommend visiting Passport Health, they have information about potential health risks in traveling to Uganda as well as information regarding options for other vaccines / protocols. Feel free to do what is best for you in regards to those protocols, yellow fever is the only vaccine required to enter the country.
We suggest having your passport and proof of yellow fever vaccine no later than October 31st, 2024 - this way you do not have to think about it over the holidays or in the new year as we are preparing more for the trip!
