We seek to pair up children in our program with Christian, adult mentors. This mentorship program will give the children a person to confide in, ask questions / seek advice, and be encouraged in their relationship with Jesus. The hearts of the children, staff, and everyone involved with Raising Children International’s operations are of the highest importance. As we support the physical needs of children and communities, we desire to just as strongly support their relationship with the Lord.

Raising Children International strives to provide quality care for children who have no families or can no longer live with their parents due to unsafe conditions or an unsafe environment. We seek to have the highest standards of care in our programs, working with governments and communities to improve alternative child care systems.

Quality education and training are keys to a successful future. We help ensure that children's fundamental right to education is met, from early childhood through vocational training or university, and that young people are prepared to live independent lives. When children attain the education they need, they are in a much better position to take advantage of opportunities to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

Health and poverty are strongly linked. Ill health drives most families in rural areas into poverty. Our health programs will focus on developing healthy habits and connecting kids with services when they need help. Raising Children International plans to open pediatric medical clinics to provide life-changing health support that gives vulnerable children an opportunity for access to quality health services and facilities. Vulnerable children, irrespective of their location, can never reach their full potential without access to good health. Our clinics will provide treatment for malnutrition, malaria, and HIV/AIDS, as well as preventive treatments like hygiene education, nutritional education, child checkups, dental care, and prenatal and childbirth care.

Families experiencing crises or extreme hardship may have difficulty caring adequately for their children. We work with families and communities to help them build their capacities so that children are well cared for and families stay together. We believe in a family as a strong beginning for every child. We want to ensure that every child where possible grows in a loving and secure family setting.

Raising Children International stands up for children and works to sensitize communities and decision-makers about children's rights. We work alongside children to encourage them to develop the skills and capabilities they need to actively take part in the decision making processes that affect their lives. We want to see children speaking up for themselves in matters pertaining to their lives.
